About the Podcast
After years of gracing the food scene of New Orleans with her business savvy and culinary touch running a French Quarter cafe, indie artist Voice Monet cultivates an intimate space for her various passions while interviewing some of her favorite people behind the pulse of the city. VOICEISHEAR podcast highlights her love for hospitality, culture, creativity and community. First within the the city limits of New Orleans, but quite possibly wherever else Voice may find herself around the world.
The entire premise of my podcast is to give the listener/viewer an intimate and informal look into the city of New Orleans beyond what the French Quarter and Mardi Gras have to offer. For me this starts with the individuals pulling the strings behind small businesses and organizations integral to our community on the ground level. I have a variety of guests who span across industries ranging from entertainment to agriculture, who all share a love for the city and diligently back that love with long term investment and hard work. The podcast also serves to connect my local community to the global community at large who share the same affinity.
